A combination water cooling tower and condenser. The refrigerant from the compressor is routed to the cooling tower where the tower evaporates water to cool the refrigerant. In the evaporative condenser the refrigerant is routed to the tower and the water circulates only in the tower. In a cooling tower, the water is routed to the condenser at the compressor location.
