FLASHCARD QUESTION

I have a second question for you:
A factory makes 67 cars in one day. Each car transporter can carry 8 cars. How many transporters are needed to carry all the cars away?
Back
reflexion:
I wanted to give you those two questions that are division with remainders but require an answer with an interger (whole number). You need to read the question carefully to work out if you are going to round up or down.

FLASHCARD QUESTION

answer question 1:
57 ÷ 9 = 6 r 3
I will round down, I can make 6 groups of nine (and I will have 3 spare dancers...)
answer: 6 full groups
Back
answer question 2:
67 ÷ 9 = 8 r 3
I will round up, because all the cars need to be taken away even though one transporter will only carry 3 cars.
answer: 9 transporters
