How are languages taught and learned in your school ?

Back

In my school, languages, especially foreign languages are typically taught by focusing on grammar and learning new words based on common topics. From my perspective, there is often a lack of real practice of speaking skills, which can create a sense of fear making mistakes and barriers for student to get over. Many students struggle with these issues because they don't always get enough opportunities to practice speaking and build confidence in learning new languages.

How do you learn a foreign language?

Back

Well, When it comes to learning a foreign language, I usually start by exposing my self to the language by listening and watching conversations of native speakers. After being familiar with the sound and the vowels, I would dive into comprehensive reading to expand my vocabulary range, practicing writing and sometimes do some grammar homework to cover all fundamental skills for that language.
