Well, I went to the Salt Museum and the Boat Museum I preferred the Boat Museum as it was more interactive and I got to go on a canal boat trip. Canal boats were invented in the 18th century and the development of the Trent & Mersey Canal in 1770 standardised narrowboat widths.
