Reported Commands and Resquest

• to give a command, use tell + object+ (not) + to+ verb- dont run.

• to give a request, use ask +object + (not) + to + verb.

• Could you go inside.

• Mrs. Evans asked us to go inside.

Example:

• Pick your book.

• close the door.

• go to sleep.

• My mom asked me to close the door.

• The teacher asked me to pick up the book.

• Dad told me to go to sleep.
