What is a noun?

• A noun is a naming word.

• Nouns can also be defined as “a name of anything”.

• So basically we can safely define a noun as a name of either a place, a person, an animal or a thing.

• Examples include ; a cat, church, a pencil or  baby. 

• Look at these pictures and name them.
