Because (kerana)

• "Because" is used to show reason.

• "because" digunakan di tengah-tengah ayat bagi menggabungkan ayat akibat dan ayat sebab.

Examples:

• Sharmila is sad because she lost her pet dog.

• The cars are moving slowly because of the traffic jam ahead.

• Bobby missed his school bus because he woke up late.

Example 1

Sharmila is sad because she lost her pet dog.

Ayat diatas menerangkan akibat dan mengapa akibat tersebut berlaku.

Akibat: Sharmila is sad.
Sebab: She lost her pet dog.

Example 2

The cars are moving slowly because there is s traffic jam ahead.


Ayat diatas menerangkan akibat dan mengapa akibat tersebut berlaku.

Akibat: The cars are moving slowly

Sebab: There is s traffic jam ahead.
