The staff and note placement

The staff is made up of 5 lines and 4 spaces.

High and Low Notes

Read the staff as if you were climbing a ladder from the bottom to the top.  The lower the note is on the staff, the lower the sound.  The higher the note is on the staff, the higher the sound.
Lea el personal como si estuviera subiendo una escalera de abajo hacia arriba.  Cuanto más baja sea la nota en el pentagrama, más bajo será el sonido. Cuanto más alta sea la nota en el pentagrama, más alto será el sonido.
קרא את הצוות כאילו אתה מטפס על סולם מלמטה למעלה. ככל שהתו נמוך יותר על הצוות, כך הצליל נמוך יותר. ככל שהתו נמצא בצוות גבוה יותר, כך הצליל גבוה יותר.

Note Placement

The note is on a space when there is no line going through the circle.  The note is on a line when there is a line going through the center.
La nota está en un espacio cuando no hay una línea que atraviese el círculo. La nota está en una línea cuando hay una línea que pasa por el centro.
הפתק נמצא על רווח כאשר אין קו שעובר במעגל. ההערה נמצאת על קו כאשר יש קו שעובר במרכז.

There are seven letters to the musical alphabet: A, B, C, D, E, F, G. After G, we start over again with A.

Hay siete letras en el alfabeto musical: A, B, C, D, E, F, G. Después de G, comenzamos de nuevo con A.

יש אלפבית המוזיקלי שבע אותיות: A, B, C, D, E, F, G. אחרי G, אנחנו מתחילים מחדש עם A.

The Treble Clef

This is what a treble clef looks like.  Print one out and trace it.  Then see if you can draw one freestyle.

The Treble Clef

Each line and space is assigned a letter name that will never change.  Create a sentence for the letters on the lines.  The word face is in the spaces.
A cada línea y espacio se le asigna un nombre de letra que nunca cambiará. Crea una oración para las letras de las líneas. La palabra cara está en los espacios.
לכל שורה ומרחב מוקצה שם אות שלא ישתנה לעולם. צור משפט לאותיות על השורות. המילה פנים נמצאת במרחבים.

The Bass Clef

The Bass Clef also has letters assigned to its lines and space that will never change.  Create two sentences for each set of notes.
La clave de sol también tiene letras asignadas a sus líneas y espacios que nunca cambiarán. Crea dos oraciones para cada conjunto de notas.
בספן המפתח יש גם אותיות שהוקצו לשורותיו ולמרחבו שלעולם לא ישתנה. צור שני משפטים לכל קבוצת הערות.

The Grand Staff

The grand staff is created when you connect the treble and bass clefs together with a brace.  Treble goes on top and bass goes on bottom.
El gran pentagrama se crea cuando se conectan las claves de agudos y graves con una llave. Los agudos van arriba y los graves abajo.
הצוות הגדול נוצר כאשר אתה מחבר את סדק הטרבל והבס יחד עם סד. טרבל עולה למעלה ובס ממשיך למטה.

The Ledger Lines

The staves can be extended to allow other notes to be used outside of the range of the clefs.  The lines outside of the staff are called ledger lines.
Los pentagramas se pueden ampliar para permitir que se utilicen otras notas fuera del rango de las claves. Las líneas fuera del pentagrama se denominan líneas de libro mayor.
ניתן להרחיב את המוטות כדי לאפשר שימוש בתווים אחרים מחוץ לטווח הסלעים. הקווים מחוץ לצוות נקראים קווי ספר.

The circle of the note still tells us its location.
