What do verbs in the Past Simple tell us?

Verbs in the Past Simple tell us about a FINISHED action in the past.
Los verbos en el Pasado Simple nos dicen sobre una acción TERMINADA en el pasado.

We visited (visit) our grandparents last Saturday.
Tú has visitado tus abuelos el último sabado y despúes algunas horas ha regresado a su casa.. Esto es una acción terminada.

The Past Simple = Present Simple + ed
This is the main rule (la regla principal).
For all pronouns: I, you , he......they.
Examples:
caminar - walk - walked: I walked, you walked, he walked etc....
trabajar - work - worked; she worked, we worked, they worked

But: There are always exceptions.
Pero: Siempre hay excepciones.
And you have to study - memorize these exceptions!

If the answer starts with: "Did" , you also use "did" in 'the short answer.

Regular verbs end on - ed for all pronouns
Negatives: didn't + complete verb
Questions: Did + subject + complete verb
Short answers with "did" / "didn't".
