Capitalization Review for English Language

• Capitals are used for peoples' first and last names.

• Capitals are used for certain places like a road name, country name, river name, or building name. 

• capitals are used for the first word in a sentence.  

• The pronoun I is ALWAYS CAPITALIZED.  

Punctuation

• The period is when we stop after a thought.

• The comma is a pause between same thoughts, in the date, an address, or after a greeting or closing. 

• The question mark shows that an answer is asked for.

• The exclamation point (ONLY ONE AT A TIME) shows excitement.
