• Poems have been used by our ancestors and are markers of ancient civilizations

• transferred by word of mouth or sculpted or imprinted on papyrus scrolls, stone or even barks of trees

Believe it or not! People back in the day use poems since they are easy to remember.

Poetic forms

Poems comes in a lot of types and forms. Some measured, some are not. 
A poem without a form, rhyme scheme or measurement is called 'Free verse'. 
Releasing you from limitations, why don't we go ahead and write at least a verse about one of the most popular themes, 'first love'. 

Why don't we try writing our own poems?
