•  $3x^2y^2z\left(z+2\right)$  

•  $3xyz^6\left(xyz+2\right)$

•  $3x^2y^2z^6\left(xyz+2\right)$  

2. Grouping

• Must have 4 terms (reminder: terms are separated by addition or subtraction)

• Create 2 groups (2 terms in each)

• Look for the GCF of each group

• What is left in the ( ) when the GCF is factored out should match!!

• Is it a binomial (2 terms)?

• Are both terms perfect squares?

• Is there subtraction between the 2 terms? (**Difference** = subtraction)
