What is a dialogue?

What a dialogue is.

A dialogue is conversation between two characters.

How do we punctuate a dialogue.

Put Speech marks before and after the spoken words.
Capitalise the first word inside the speech marks.
Use a comma after any words introducing the speech.
Start a new line when a new person speaks.
