Actors have positions

位置 on stage. They can be in the front 前, in the back後, on the left 左邊 or on the right 右邊.

Stage positions 位置 are from actor's point of view 演員的觀點. Front 前 is downstage. Back 後 is upstage.

crossing 過位

An actor moves from stage left to stage right or stage right to stage left. 在舞台上，演員從一個地方移到另一個地方。

countering 台位

When an actor crosses to take the place of an another actor. 通常導演會移動演員進入另一演員 離去而空出的部位

Enter 進入舞台

An actor comes on to the stage. 例: enter stage right (台右進入)

Exit 退出舞台

An actor leaves the stage. 例: exit stage left (台左退出)
