GC Features worth exploring

  • Adding due dates to Classwork (it appears on your class's Google Calendar).

  • Create a copy of something for every student in your class.

  • Within Classwork, using "Topics" to organize your resources by core subject or by unit (e.g. ELA, Math or Ancient Rome, Civil War).

  • Providing feedback to the student through the assignment/Google Classroom.

By the end of the week

  • Invite me into your Google Classroom(s).

  • Ensure all students (not just remote) are added to your Google Classroom(s).

  • Add your homeroom's course schedule as an announcement (Add --> Google Drive --> find the doc and add it).

  • Make an announcement with any orientation/welcome information you may have sent home. This includes welcome letters, videos, or PDFs of important documents.
