Writing decimals in words and figures

Decimals are numbers with decimal points.

Decimals can be written in words and in figures.

The digit before the decimal point is the whole number.

Naming a decimal

To name a decimal or write it in words, you write the whole number and then mention the number after the decimal point as a whole and then you add the place of the last decimal digit.
