Respect Rocks!

• We know it's the R in SOAR....

• Ospreys should be doing it every day!

• So what does that look like, exactly?

• We can show respect at school by helping when others need it.

• We show respect when we listen to our teachers and try our best to learn.

• Showing kindness is a big part of being respectful to others.

We should respect our...

• Teachers and classmates

• Parents and family

• Pets and other friends

Everybody deserves to be respected!

• Does that include animals and plants?

• Does that include the environment?

• Does that include people we don't even know?

We don't have to be everyone's friend, but we have to be friendly to everyone!

• It's pretty easy to show respect to people we know and like, probably because they are a lot like us.

• But what about people who are very different from us? Can we show them respect too?
