DISCUSSION TIME

• Conditionals have TWO clauses (parts that have verbs)

• You can put them in any order, but you have to add a comma ( , ) in case you start with the if-clause.

• Sentences A and C are real conditionals because they talk about events that are (or were) real or potentially real.

• B, D, and E are the unreal conditionals. They talk about imaginary events, or alternate events. They talk about events ''that aren't''.

• Would is the word that shows up in the MAIN clause (not the if-clause)
