MATTER

• Matter is a thing that has mass and occupies space.

• There are 3 types of matter: Solid , Liquid and Gas.

INTERESTING FACT

• We are also matter

• We are made up of cells and tissues

SOLID

• Solid is the hard form. You cannot compress it because its molecules are strong.

• These molecules are held together by force.

• Example: Ice , Cookies , Can etc.

LIQUID

• Liquid is the flowing form.

• It flows so your cannot compress and hold because the molecules here are a little weak.

• Examples: Water , Juice , Milk etc.

GAS

• Gas is the moving form.

• It moves around freely.

• You can't hold , press or see it because the molecules are very weak so it moves free.

• Its invisible.

• Examples: Oxygen , Carbon - Dioxide , Nitrogen etc.
