What is a Complete Sentence?
- A sentence is only complete with a subject AND a predicate!
- A subject is a noun (person, place, or thing). it tells who or what the sentence is about. Ex. musician, player, he.
- Predicate - is a verb. It tells what the subject does or is. Ex. played, struggled, flapping, is, were.

EXAMPLES
Find the subject and predicate in each sentence.
The boy walked to school.
The talented musician played the violin.
My thick jacket was very warm.

** Everything that belongs with the subject is the complete subject and everything that belongs with the predicate is the complete predicate.
