What is a Complete Sentence?

  • A sentence is only complete with a subject AND a predicate!
  • A subject is a noun (person, place, or thing). it tells who or what the sentence is about. Ex. musician, player, he.


  • Predicate - is a verb. It tells what the subject does or is. Ex. played, struggled, flapping, is, were.
