Simple Present

·        To say when things happen if they take place regularly:   I visit my grandparents on Sunday

·        To talk about permanent situations or facts:   I live in Quito

·        To state general truths: Teenagers sleep more than adults

Third person singular (he, she, it) add s or es to the verb.

·        To talk about the present moment: I am watching TV

·        To express a temporary action or event: I am staying with my grandparents.

·        For repeated actions or events over a period of time: I am learning German.

·        For changing or developing situations : The world is getting warmer

The verb Be (am, is, are) and verb+ing
