Basics

The fun part of makeup is that it has no rules. Individuals are free to create any kind of look from simple, everyday natural makeup, to creative and advanced looks. The basics of makeup are for those who struggle with what to do and what to use.

The base

  • It's important to remember that to make any product look nice, your skin should be well taken care of.

  • Sunscreen & Moisturizer should be applied first

  • From there, Primer is key to keeping the makeup from sliding around throughout the day

  • Foundation & Concealer are then used to even out one's skin tone and hide any blemishes or hyper-pigmentation.

  • Finally, powder is used to set the liquid makeup in place to prevent creases and sliding.

  • Next, highlighter can be applied to the highest points of your face (Cheekbones, tip of nose, cupids bow, forehead)
