Your assignment today is to write expand a scene from Calliope's History Mystery. In this slideshow I will explain the expectations in more detail.

Today's Writing is to prepare you for next weeks END OF UNIT test.

In Calliope's History Mystery, Calliope and her family follow a series of clues through the Museum to find a missing piece of the Rosetta Stone. Choose a scene from the story, and expand on it by writing additional dialogue between Calliope and another character. Use sensory language, describe events and reveal information about characters that fit with the rest of the story. Make sure your new scene features a sequence of events that fit together naturally, make sense to the reader, and end with a logical conclusion.
