Chapter Overview

In Primary 5, pupils learnt to multiply whole numbers, proper fractions, improper fractions, and mixed numbers in any combination. Pupils have also explored the relationships between fractions, mixed numbers and division expressions.

In this chapter, pupils will apply these concepts to divide proper fractions by a whole number. This will be furter extended to divide whole numbers and proper fractions by a proper fraction.
