  • Refers that ae things in real life that can be use dealing with the 5 senses

  • Building, Dog, Cat, Snow

  • We were going to go outside, but we found out it was raining

  • The concrete noun is Rain because rain is a real life thing that can be touched and Heard (2 of the 5 senses)

  • We built a sandcastle and the sand was very fun.

  • Sand is the concrete noun because you can touch it

  • The common noun is Math

  • During online school I put on a background.

  • Background is the Compound Noun

  • Determines a particular Person, Place, or Thing

  • Burger King, Mercedes, Lightning McQueen Toy

  • Today is the day I get some Chick-Fil-A.

  • Chick-Fil-A is the Proper Noun

  • We went to go get some Snickers.

  • Snickers is the Proper Noun

  • A Pronoun is used in place of a noun

  • She would go in place of Sally or Dolly

  • Him could into place for Chris or Henry

  • They could go in the place of family

  • It could go into toy or vase

  • Make sure the sentence makes sense when you put in the pronoun

  • Referring to an idea, quality, or a condition, not a physical object dealing with the 5 senses

  • The opposite of Concrete Nouns

  • Ex: Time, Sadness, Anger, Brave, Danger
