Possessives:

A possessive noun ends with an apostrophe ( ' ) and an s and that shows ownership. Example, the boy's bike and the dog's ball. The bike belongs to the boy and the ball belongs to the dog.

my (mom) hat = my mom's hat

my (dad) job = my dad's job
