• Nouns are things we can see, hear, touch, taste, smell

• Verbs are things we do

• Adjectives makes nouns more interesting

Word order in English

• The subject is usually a noun.

• The object is usually a noun.

• The verb describes the action or is the verb to be (am, is, are) (was, were)
