As you read...

• Annotate the text to analyze how the narrator behaves throughout the story. Are there any similarities between this narrator and the children in "A Dead Woman's Secret?"

• Annotate for what seems to be odd or interesting. Look at the setting and how it is described as well.

• Annotate for the memories he has of her.
