Perimeter, Area and Volume

Perimeter is the sum of the lengths of all the sides.

• You add up all the side lengths.

Area is a measure of how much space there is on a flat surface.

• Multiply the length by the width.

Volume is the measurement of amount of space occupied inside the three dimensional space.

• For a rectangular prism and a cube you multiply by length by width by height.
