To Customize and Control Google Chrome

  • where you find the settings for Chrome

  • We call this the Snowman

  • you find it in the top right-hand corner of your screen

  • this is one of the O365 apps

  • you save to here

  • the One Drive saves files online

Google Chrome

  • This is an internet browser, which means it lets us get online

  • It is our default browser in school

  • you must double-click this to access the internet

  • click this to go to the last page you were on

  • you find this in the top left corner of your internet window

  • it takes you back to the page you were on before

  • if you click and hold on it, it will show you all of the pages you visited at that time

Microsoft Edge

  • this is the internet browser for Microsoft

  • clicking on this will allow you to access the internet

  • it is a newer version of Internet Explorer

  • sometimes you might have to use this if a site doesn't work on Chrome

  • press this along with the Fn key to lower the volume

  • you can click on this to check your internet status

  • sometimes there will be a red or black dot on it if your internet is not working

  • the line stands for minimize - or make your internet window shrink down to the Task Bar at the bottom of your screen

  • the 2 boxes together stands for maximize - or make your internet window bigger to fill the whole screen

  • the X stands for close, exit, or shut your internet window down or off

  • can let you know you have a message or you click on it to send a message

  • also symbol for mail/emai
