On each slide you will see a short description of a person and something that person did. Identify if they are doing science or technology, and find "supporting" words in the reading.

• Galileo worked very hard to discover why objects fell to the ground.

• In his research, he learned that objects that have different weights (kg or pounds) fall at the same speed.

• From his research he learned that all objects fall at a common speed (9.8 m/s2), which allowed Sir Isaac Newton to use his calculations to write his LAW OF UNIVERSAL GRAVITATION.
