Division of Fractions Has Pattern

  • Keep. Change. Flip.

  • To understand this pattern, we need to understand what we keep.

  • We keep what we are dividing or making into pieces or parts.

  • We change the operation from division to mulitplication

  • Flip the number of parts we want to make (or make an inverse fraction or reciprocal)
