Parts of speech
This lesson will cover: nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, and prepositions

Noun - person, place, thing, idea
Here are some examples:
Cerberus, Clemens, Quintus, Metella, dog, cook
Pompeii, house, street, Italy, dining room, kitchen, office
book, ring, discus, picture, lion, money
fortitude, justice, wisdom, temperance, prudence

Verb - an action or being word
If you are doing an action, that action word is a verb
If you are just being something, that word of being is a verb
If you know the subject noun (or pronoun), ask yourself, what is the subject doing? Maybe it's an action, maybe it's being, but that's the verb

Preposition - a position word, (or a word that tells you something about a noun relative to another noun.) You could think of "anywhere a mouse can go" relative to a wall.

around the wall

Try to check all prepositions. A trick to use to find a prepositions would be to try to put it with a noun like wall, (from the previous "anywhere a mouse can go" example) or a room like the kitchen.
Keep in mind those specific examples might not work with EVERY preposition, like "with," or "for," for example.
