Reduce or Simplify Fractions

Some fractions can be simplified or reduced. This means putting them in lowest terms or in the smallest numbers possible. Here is one example of how to reduce. Dividing the top and bottom by the same number is like reducing by a tricky form of 1. It doesn't change its value, but it does make it easier to understand and do math with. Hint: Find the greatest common factor!

Adding Fractions with Like Denominators
