Last lesson we started to discuss the world's Greatest sport event - the London Marathon. Can you name the peculiar features of this event? Tick the right ideas.

The London Marathon

You're right. The London Marathon is one of the "World's Marathon Majors" which has taken place every year since 1981. People run 26.6 miles around the city centre. Both professional sportsmen and amatures take part in the event. Male and female winners recieve $1 million in prize money between them.
