  • Set up the problem with the given ratio between the 2 different units to equal the new proportion (including the distance given in the problem.

  • Cross out the unit names that are repeated & keep the unit byitself.

  • Cross multiply with the diagonal given numbers

  • Divide with the number in the diagonal by itself.
