There are plenty of other sports that people might think is the best sport to play. This is very clearly a claim, and not a factual statement.

California is a popular place to visit since there are so many activities to do at the beach.

You could argue that there are not a lot of activities at the beach OR that California is a popular place to visit because of the good weather or the number of jobs available. The beach activities is simply an opinion, not a fact.

This is an opinion because of the use of the word “more.” This insinuates a comparison between Jim and Della and the author of this claim is picking a position.
