  • Linear motion: is when a body is along a straight line. Example: an apple falling from a tree.

  • Curvilinear motion: s when a body is along a curve path. Example: a ball kicked by a boy.

  • Circular motion: the motion of a body along a circular path. Example: the movements the hands of a clock.

  • Vibratory motion: a part of the body always remains fixed and the rest part moves. in this motion, the shape and size change. Example: Varios types of instruments like guitar, violin and sitar.
