There are mainly six types of Adjectives ; namely :-

• Adjective of Quality

• Adjective of Quantity

• Numerical Adjectives

• Demonstrative Adjectives

• Possessive Adjectives

• Interrogative Adjectives

Adjective of Quality

The describing words that tell about the 'trait' of the noun.

Example :- The room had been decorated with red balloons.

Adjective of Quantity

The describing words that tell about the 'amount' of the noun.

Example :- Could you bring me some juice?

Numerical Adjectives

The describing words that tell about 'how many' of the noun.

Example :- We shall complete this assignment in two months.

Demonstrative Adjectives

The describing words that 'specify' the noun by 'pointing' it out.

Example :- That car belongs to Uncle Pim.

Possessive Adjectives

The describing words that tell about the 'ownership' of the noun.

Example :- She has misplaced her bag.

Interrogative Adjectives

The describing words that 'ask questions' about the noun.

Example :- Whose box has been stolen?
