Talking about the past:
When I was a child, I liked candies and chocolates. I didn't like mayonnaise or fish.
I played soccer on the street with my friends, "hide and seek", stickers, and videogames. I played nintendo and super nintendo.
I listened to hip-hop, rock and pop music.
I watched cartoons like Hey Arnold! Rugrats, Dragon ball, Saint Seiya and others.
5
To talk about past events, use verbs in the past.
For some verbs, we add ED to make the past form.
"I liked candies and chocolates"
"I watched cartoons"
"I played videogames"
We only add ED in affirmative sentences
Remember the 4 rules for ED verbs
6
To talk about negative events, we use the word didn't before the verb.
Don't add ED to the verb in negative sentences.
"I didn't like mayonnaise or fish"
NOT "I didn't liked mayonnaise or fish"
7
To ask questions in the past, we use the word did before the subject, and then the verb
Don't add ED to the verb in questions
"Did you play videogames?"
NOT "Did you played videogames?"
