Combinng Sentences: Inserting Phrases

• In addition to combining sentences by creating compound sentences, compound subjects, and compound verbs, writers combine sentences by inserting phrases.

• Combine realted sentences by inserting a phrase from one sentence into another sentence. Sometimes you need to change slightly the phrase you move form one sentence to another. Other times, you can just select a phrase from one sentence and insert it into another without any change.
