Past Tense forms
We add (ed) to the verb = listen- listened
We only add (d) if the verb ends in (e)= bake - baked
We cross the (Y) and put (ied) if we have a consonant before the (Y) = study - studied
We double the last letter if we have a (vowel) before the last letter and it is a short verb.= drop-dropped
