ctrl t opens a new tab. ctrl n opens a new window. ctrl w closes the tab you are on. ctrl shift w closes the window you are on. ctrl shift t opens the last tab or window you closed.

alt right or left arrow keys take you to the last screen or the next one (it only takes you to the next screen if you have all ready been on it). ctrl u takes you to the tab's coding. alt = restores the window. alt - minimizes the window. ctrl 1-8 takes you to tab 1-8. ctrl 9 takes you to the last tab.
