Transformation Vocabulary

• Pre-Image - a figure before the transformation (i.e., ABC).

• Image - a figure after the transformation (i.e., A' B' C' - pronounced A prime, B prime, C prime).

• Tranformation - manuever on the coordinate plane that changes the orientation, position, and/or size on a figure.
