Passive voice

Usamos la pasiva cuando queremos poner atención en el "object" (en este caso The Oscar winners) y no en el sujeto ("subject").

Recuerda que también existen:

Causative passive (luego saldrá)

Impersonal passive: "It is expected that.../It is said that.../It is thought that..."

• IT'S (time) + SINCE + PAST SIMPLE --> It's three years since I went to London.

• PRESENT PERFECT + FOR (time) --> I haven't gone to London for three years.

• IT'S 1st/2nd... time + PRESENT PERFECT --> It's the second time I have gone to London
