movement in birds
most birds can fly. in addition, brids can even walk, hop or run. some birds such as ducks, geese and swans can even swim in water. birds have a streamlined body, which makes it easy for them to move through the air. birds can fly in 2 different ways; gilding and flapping. if a bird is gliding, it will have its wings in an extended position just like an airplane. the life it achieves will be dependent upon its forward motion and its airfoil. humming bird are the only birds that can fly backwards and upside down.
5
movement in snake
most snake glide forward by using their ribs and belly scales to push backward, first on one side and then the other. bigger snake may push on both sides at the same time. burrowing snakes and climbing snake often move like an accordion. they stretch of the body then pull the rear part forward.
6
movement in human beings
abduction and adduction motions occur within the coronal plane and involve medial lateral motions of the limb, fingers, tors, or thumb abduction moves the limb laterally away from the midline of the body, while adduction is the opposing movement that brings the limb toward the body or across the midline.
7
the human skeleton
the skeleton is the framework formed by the bones of our body. the skeleton of a normal adult human is made up of 206 bones. apart from bones and muscles, cartilage, ligament ,tendons and joints also form a part of the skeletal system.
8
functions of skeleton
it forms the framework of our body, provides shape and support and holds the body upright.
it helps in the movement of various parts of the body
it protects the internal organs of our body
