PRESENT SIMPLE - czas teraźniejszy prosty

• czynności wykonywane regularnie (I get up at 6.)

• stany stałe i upodobania (I live in Poland.)

• uczucia (I love music)

• stany umysłu (I know.../I understand...)

• zmysły (This pizza tastes delicious)

• rozkłady jazdy, plany lekcji (My bus leaves at 10 o'clock)

PRESENT CONTINUOUS - czas teraźniejszy ciągły

• czynności wykonywane w chwili mówienia, teraz, w tej chwili (I am doing homewrok now)

• czynności wykonywane tymczasowo, wyjątkowo (this week, today, tonight itd.)

• czynności zaplanowane na najbliższą przyszłość, które na pewno się odbędą (I'm flying to Rome tomorrow.)

Określenia czasu PRESENT SIMPLE:

always - zawsze

usually - zwykle

often - często

sometimes - czasami

from time to time - od czasu do czasu

rarely / seldom - rzadko

hardly ever - prawie nigdy/bardzo rzadko

never - nigdy

every day/every week/every month/every winter/ - codziennie, co tydzień, co miesiąc, każdej zimy

once.../twice.../three times... a week/ a month/ a day - raz, dwa razy, 3 razy w tygodniu/ w miesiącu/ dziennie...

Określenia czasu Present Continuous

now - teraz

at the moment - w tym momencie

at present - obecnie

today - dzisiaj

tonight- dziś wieczorem

this week - w tym tygodniu

this month - w tym miesiącu

PODMIOT + CZASOWNIK (-s/-es w 3 osobie) + DOPEŁNIENIE

np. I usually drink coffee in the morning.

My dad never cooks.

We go abroad from time to time.

It often snows in winter.

Our teacher always gives us a lot of homework.

Present Simple - pytania

Do/Does + podmiot + czasownik (bez żadnych końcówek!)

Do you like adventure films?

Where does your mum work?

Does Tom live near the park?

Do your children often go to the cinema?

Present Simple - przeczenia

Podmiot + don't / doesn't + czasownik (bez żadnych końcówek)

I don't live in the city centre.

She doesn't know everyone in this office.

My friends don't visit me very often.

You don't drink milk every day.

This juice doesn't smell nice.

Mary doesn't watch tv in the evenings.

Their dogs don't eat meat.

Present Contunuous - zdania twierdzące

Podmiot + to be (am/is/are) + czasownik z -ing

I am running, because I'm late for school.

Annie is using her computer at the moment.

The swimmers are training hard this week.

It is raining heavily today.

My mum is reading an interesting book at present.

We are studying English now.

Present Continuous - pytania

Am/ Is / Are + podmiot+ czasownik z -ing?

Are you going anywhere this week?

Is she looking for a new flat?

Am I thinking of summer hoilday at the moment?

Is it raining now?

Are they going to the USA next weekend?

What is she doing now?

Present Continuous - przeczenia.

Podmiot + am/is/are + NOT + czasownik z -ing.

I'm not working today - I'm on holiday.

They aren't swimming in the sea, because it's too cold.

My sister isn't sleeping at the moment.

The baby isn't crying now.

We are not going to school this week because of the Coronavirus.
