Energy

 What cars need to move. Most cars use gasoline as stored energy to move.    We get energy from food we eat during the day.

Electric Car

These cars use batteries to move. Batteries are stored energy. Batteries can be recharged to work for a long time.

Spring

Where the energy is stored in a wind up toy.

Motor

 A motor works hard to pull a roller coaster up a hill.

Height

The height of a hill provides energy for a roller coaster to go back down a hill.

Stored Energy

Energy that is up high in an object.

Chain Reaction

Stored energy released to release the energy of another object. Knocking over dominoes in a line is a chain reaction.

Transferred energy

The movement of energy from one place to another.
