Adding "ING"

When there is a verb adding something might change the word. But when you add "ing" that only means the verb is in "Present tense". If you say "I liked that movie" the verb is "like" but it got changed to"liked" in "past tense". If i say "I will buy some toys for my cat" the verb "buy" will become "will buy" and that is "future tense".
