The Legislative Branch

  • This branch is also called Congress.

  • Congress is made up of 2 parts: The Senate and the House of Representatives.

  • This branch makes the laws. They write up and veto (get rid of) laws.

  • To make a law, there's a whole process to follow, including writing a bill, having that bill be accepted or rejected, and having the House of Representatives and Senate agree/disagree on the bill.
